It would be far more palpable if there wasn't the pressure to have to buy a bunch of gifts.
None for me this year. I uprooted myself and am moving across country... unemployed (for now). I made those in my life well aware that there's no Santa Claus this year. I'm not happy about it, but I have to prioritize. I'm sure I'll make up for it next year. ;)

My family is fortunate enough to get what they need on their own during the year as they see fit. Purchasing something for them is actually a burden because they then have to deal with something they don't need. So far, they have not recognized I'm in the same boat as they are. I'm fortunate enough to get what I need (not always want) when I need it. So someone buying me something I don't need at Christmas is a burden to me as well.

So did you decide on Arizona?
