Roger Waters (Pink Floyd) and Steve Harris (Iron Maiden) come to mind. Both on Ps mostly. Cutting through infinite guitarness and keyboards. Look at the rigs they used. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say, 12" or 15" speakers maybe be better friends to a P than 10"s. All the sydneys guys used 2 1x15 cabs back in the 80s when Ps were the standard in Sydney rock. Think lots of bands like AC/DC and you get the picture. Which reminds me, AC/DC's bassists used a lot of Ps.
