Let me see your same style bass collections

Each has a different sound and a different role.

Left to right:
*Fender Mexico 70's Jazz Bass Reissue (2008) - Slightly modified with lollipop tuners and a 920D JB-C pre-wired control plate. La Bella Low Tension flatwounds. I only ever use the neck pickup and the tone rolled all the way off. This is for when I want the Aston "Family Man" Barrett sound.
*Fender Japan JB-STD Jazz Bass (2010) - This is my P bass in a Jazz body/neck. Came stock from Fender Japan this way. I mostly use the neck P pickup. DR Sunbeam roundwounds.
*Fender Japan 75 Jazz Bass Reissue (1985) - Modified by previous owner with lollipop tuners and Aguilar pickups. This is my #1 Jazz bass. DR Sunbeam roundwounds.
*Sire V7 Fretless - Upgraded the tuners with black lollipops. DR Sunbeam roundwounds on the coated fretboard really sings.

Dang. Nice collection. Never seen a natural Big Al. That looks sweet. Is it a one or two piece body? If two, did they cut the boards so the grain fans somewhat parallel to the upper and lower bouts?

It came to me black with black PG. I had to see the mahogany so I stripped it and rattle can clear laquered it. Just by chance the pieces match pretty well. It's 3 pieces.

Do you only play or mostly play one style of bass? This can be as little as two or more . (Depending on the size of your collection). Number of stings doesn't count. For instance, I only play 5 strings, I only play 6 strings, ect.

Im more interested in seeing like a collection of Danelectros, Rics, Spectors, Thundebirds, Yamaha BB's, etc.

I suspect that the most responses will be Fender Precisions and Jazz basses. So let me see those basses that stole your heart , fit your hands like a glove, and put a smile on your face. :)
Not quite a collection, but I suppose I do have an affinity for Alien Audio Constellations.

Great collection! I love the Charcoal Sparkle finish and, as @cholyoke said, I don't recall seeing a natural Big Al before but it looks great. Some might say it was gutsy move to strip that bass but i love it.

I know I started this thread but I’m away from home ( Florida) on a trip back home ( Texas ) , missing my basses. Guess it’s time for me to post. I wasn’t going to but I’m missing playing .

So I guess once you're home we won't hear from you for a day or two while you're making it up to them? :D
