Sorry about the late reply. The pickguard on the second bass is gold anodized, there is no reflection because of the angle I took the picture. Thank you for the compliment.

LOL, no problem.
I have a tobacco burst Stingray Special with a tort pickguard. I'm a big tort fan, but it might be interesting to put an anodized gold pickguard on that one just to change up the look. I might have to think about that ....
All that…and one more! Fun fact; the Squier Standard P-Bass Special was not my first-ever bass, but it was the model and finish that pushed me to buy that first one. So, yeah…it stole my cold, dead heart.I suspect that the most responses will be Fender Precisions and Jazz basses. So let me see those basses that stole your heart , fit your hands like a glove, and put a smile on your face.
'Nother fun fact; I almost bought a Squier Standard Jazz in Satin Pewter Metallic earlier today. I backed off because of a number of considerations, but it's probably just a matter of time until I get one to fill the hole in my heart left behind by The Terrible Trio's absence.

Nice! A lot of my posts are related to my love of Musicmans in general and Stingrays in particular. But I'm a Jazz guy, too, and still have a couple.
What's the "Deluxe"-like five-string at the bottom right? I tried blowing up the picture but still couldn't make out a logo on the headstock. I love the aesthetic of that one, very similar to my Sire Jazz (surprisingly nice for the price!).
Other than changing strings, I leave my basses AS IS. I retrofitted some with new bridges, pots, etc. but this is due to the original component not working as designed. If you do that on the Stingray, please post a picture!LOL, no problem.

That's a Fender Ultra Jazz V. I'm not sure if that's the best Fender I've ever owned, but it's in the top 2
