The USA production model isn't the point. They will make a grand total of about three of those. The point is that they have a fairly traditional import model that they will make very affordable. If Van Halen, of Michael Anthony, or Chickenfoot, or any other MA association can boost that in any way, then...well, there you go.Are there people longing for a Michael Anthony bass?

Sounds like I need to revise my summary above to incorporate the Michael Anthony Model. Let's see...
Schecter will release a Michael Anthony Signature bass. Strangely, Eddie Van Halen's signature is on the headstock followed by the quote: "It was all me!" Case candy will include a David Lee Roth action figure, an actual chicken foot and a lesson video from Michael, I mean Eddie Van Halen. Michael Manrig will demo the bass at the Schecter booth.
