Well, I posted this before somewhere in another thread. Now, this is one of my HC bands, I also do the singing her, compose whole vocal parts, lyrics and vocal arrangements. My deep (unsaid) intention is to fuse A Wilhelm Scream with The Supremes :roflmao:

Then I also have "Los Singles", sort of a Me First & the Gimme Gimmes but with Spanish language classics. This is a clip for a Rita Pavone classic song 'bout soccer (football for british fellows). I just play bass and do backing vocals here, same drummer and guitar as my other band also.

This is the band I play in! We're called Percy Morgan & The Dixie Riders, we just played our first semi-real gig last night in a lil blues bar where we live, seemed to go over really well. We play some bluesy/funky/rockin stuff, hope you enjoy :)

Well, here's my humble entry. My best friend in Texas and I started a long distance recording project a couple of months ago. We've already amassed quite a few tracks. Probably enough for a couple of albums.

Bear in mind, a lot of this was recorded on 30-year old cassette 4 tracks. Our whole aim is to just have fun. Most everything is done in a single take, as often as possible anyway.

This is a decent example of what we've been doing:

Here's something different.



Bass during the vereses is programmed using samples of single notes played by a friend on her Squier Jazz. Bass during the refrains is programmed using a couple of layers of a very simple synthesizer and some looped and filtered cello notes. I made plucks from bowed cello notes. There are also some Bass VI samples in there. Vocals are synthesized, except for the "call me" echo growls during the refrain, which are a real death metal vocalist. Female, of course. And the high plucks during the intro and breaks between the verses are made from bagpipes.

I do also play music the "normal" way of playing notes on basses.

Martyr, (traditional) Power/Heavy Metal from Utrecht. Band has been around since 1981 and had releases on Roadrunner Records and Metal Blade Records. We're on the brink of releasing a new album which will be my debut on a recording with them. Although I was born in 1990 I've been playing with a lot of old school musicians. Most of them are still very young by heart and never lost that spirit they had as youngsters. Here is a live recording with me on bass.


Orange Outlaw, Hard Rock formation from Amsterdam. I play bass on my Charvel 2B and the screams since I fronted a thrash metal band for a couple of years (while playing bass). Recently released our debut and the reviews are mostly 8/10+ and some nice shows coming up with bands like the Quireboys. We're still looking for a good booker/manager though.


On the side I'm also upgrading my production skills under the alias of Pax6. Mostly Drum & Bass production. I'm trying to upgrade my DJing skills as well, but don't tell the rockers!
