Ok we need a list of who wants it...it's been sitting in my corner forever and I only play it when I need a good laugh...I'm GLAD it'll be on its way soon!

As far as I know, nobody for the potential second trip has chipped in yet. The question of how much to send (and to whom) was raised last year but I don't think anything was ever decided.superbassman2000 said:what are we going to do with it once everybody has had a look? we all paid the same amount didn't we?
Did you mean to say no reason not to? (If so, I agree.)Kroy said:...I see no reason to leave it in his keeping...
Now that you mention it, I remember something about that too. We definitely ought to check. If Wishnevsky didn't get all his money, we need to be fair and be sure he gets paid (and we ought to also give him a fair rate of interest for the time he was still due).Is the thing even paid for yet? I thought I saw something where the guy said TB owed him about 40 bucks?
Well, we could do a sort of "legal Ponzi scheme" where the people who ponied up to buy the bass for the first pass get partially or fully reimbursed by the people buying into the second pass. But that'd surely be tricky to coordinate! Given what a great resource Paul has built for us here, I'd have no problems whatsoever with any extra money going to him.If it is paid for, what do we do with any cash over and above the price of the bass? Donate to TB?
The "We still owe him $40" thing may have been from the first "Let's buy a Wish" effort (which I believe failed when someone grabbed the bass and ran). I just remember it being mentioned somewhen in the distant past.superbassman2000 said:i am pretty sure the wish is paid for...
Good with me.Bassic83 said:I'm not saying I want it (cuz I don't!) but could I have a say in what becomes of it?
Bassic83 said:Well, I did kick in my $10, plus another $26 for shipping to Dallas, plus another $65 to get it from Florida, not to mention my time in finding it and arranging it's "jailbreak"...so I paid it's bail. I'm not saying I want it (cuz I don't!) but could I have a say in what becomes of it?
