You seem to have good quality basses. a 6 string wish will probably be a letdown for you. check out rondo for a basic 6 string frettless.

Good basic well constructed 6 string. My brother has the 5 string fretted version of this same bass and it is a nice bass.
as a disclaimer, I am not a wish hater, I want to pick up a wish and outfit it with piezos to make a frettless/EUB crossover instrument, but I am realistic enough to know that his woodworking tallents are probably not up to making a 6 string that will hold it's own in a fight.

I've had the thing too damn long and I've had a hard time finding this thread! The search function did not help!

Sorry for having it so long...trust me I'm not trying to steal it by any means. Who would want to steal a piece of **** like this?

Anyway I'll post a full review later.

Anyone in NC want the bass? Id' be willing to meet up at guitar center or sam ash to pass it on.

Ryst, do you still have this thing? I'd be interested in giving it a try and seeing it sent around again. I have a lot of experience with crappy guitars and basses.

If so, let me know what monies I'd need to send and to where.

If you can find the time, you really ought to read the whole thread. It's better than any soap opera could ever be. :p And if you read a page a day it'll last about as long as a good detective novel... and have roughly the same level of intrigue and excitement. :)

Also, be aware that the trip you read about on the first page was long ago successfully completed. Those of us who missed out on its first journey are trying to get a second one going.

Yeah, I read the entire thing in one sitting, once it got to around page 10 or so it really took off. Intrigue. Heartbreak. Betrayal. Murder! Ok... not murder, but still a very interesting read. I'd be way into a 2nd Wish trip around the country. The reviews tend to be pretty much the same with varying degrees of willingness to excuse the shoddy workmanship for the sound. It sounds to me like you could probably do alright for yourself with one of these basses IF you played your cards just right. But if you try to force something out it you'll just end up flushing your $200.
