Lets Buy A Wish Part II

Actually, who DOES have it right now?

As busy as I have been lately at work, I think I could kind of "oversee" the next round. I'd like to start a new thread for anyone interested in getting in on this round. I'll set up some ground rules for it when I get a chance. Any reviews on it, I'd like to keep in either this thread, or the Wish Review thread that is out there somewhere. If everyone is amenable to that, let me know here first, then I'll start the Wish III thread to organize the routing and rules of the next go-round. I'd like to optimally have this step done in about 2-3 weeks, if there is enough interest.

The_Ryst is the proud "Keeper of the Wishbass" at the moment. He lives just outside Raleigh NC. I'm sure he could arrange getting the bass shipped to the next willing victim. If he can't do it, I'd be willing to meet him and pick it up to get things rolling again.

Folks, be careful what you "wish" for. I was second man in line when this thing made its first pass around the nation, and have zero desire to press string to fingerboard on this monstrosity ever again. Hopefully some of you talented luthiers and woodworkers can make a silk purse from this sow's ear.

i think that i should be put last on the list so i can hold onto it for a while, until everyone decides on a third trip :D
Oh, trust us- you won't want to!

So what about the "Pimp My Wish Foundation"? I know you can't polish a turd, but I'm thinking we could make some bassic improvements to it- bridge, electronics, finish, etc. that might make this thing almost playable...anyone have any interest in this? Bueller? Bueller?

My offer from several pages back -- when the "Pimp" idea was first floated -- still stands: I'm willing to do any desired wiring/electronics upgrades.
