Let's see those beautiful Black Basses

Here is a new addition to my collection...i just replaced the pickguard with a White Pearl one and I think it looks amazing! Unfortunately, I forgot to take a full body shot with the new pick guard but you get the idea!

Not terribly beautiful, but it's black. 1988 Japanese Fender Jazz Bass Special. It was a gift from a good friend for helping him move out west. I defretted it, and am anxiously awaiting the arrival of a Warmoth Jazz body with flame maple top that I'll be finishing in black dye and oil. That should actually be closer to the legal definition of beautiful. I'll post pics after, too.

So far there's only one ;-)

I've been looking at your work on your website and I'm very impressed with all your instrument's. You have excellent taste.
I wish I could afford to have you create me one. I'd love to have a Noir. The only changes I'd want would be a Babicz Bridge, different control knobs and the Seymour Duncan Custom Shop Stinger Stacked Pickup.
I can dream ;). This Carlo Robelli UBD-410 I modded is probably as close as I'll come. I've got $150.00 US in it.
Sounds and plays excellent.
**Peace**
