Too late, folks, already gave him a hard time about it, but he's made up his mind. :)

Thing is, even tho I'd opt for no pickguard myself, I do think a pickguard would look cool on this bass... not out of place at all.

I'll chip in with everyone else and compliment you on that amazing top, too bad the simple mechanics dictate covering it up some. :(

What color finish will you be going with? The Natural seems a good option there...but that top would make any color really come to life. :)

I have to say that I am torn. On one hand I LOVE the look of a quilt top Sadowsky with a pickguard like this one. But, I also go gah gah over something like Major greenburst.
