How do you like the G3 pickups? I found mine to be kind of low output compared to my other basses, but they have a really distinctive sound. Kind of like a p-bass, but with a really mid-heavy sound like a jazz. Throaty I would say.
Le Fay Midas. Not as purty as the Capone six on the first page, but it gets the job done.
Recently had Mike Dolan squeeze in a Glock preamp with a series/parallel switch for the two rear pickups, a blend control for all, and a separate on/off switch for each pickup. This was a good bass before, it's a great bass now.
