Let's spread some musical misinformation

The original 'Silent Night' has, to this day, never been heard by the human ear. The necessary reworking, of the now almost 'Silent Night,' has become one of the all time greats. In G, naturally.

The violin as we know it had a predecessor which most people never heard of. It started with a set of thin arrows tied across a wooden box, agitated by the bow that was normally used to shoot those arrows. The arrows had to be rubbed with oil to get them to vibrate. Hence the old name 'we oil ya', which became viola and later violin. It was the grandfather of the renown Antonio Stradivari who transformed this 'wi oil ya' to the instrument as we know it.
