Let's spread some musical misinformation

Neal, that lot belongs in the Too Funny thread.
Sorry, they seemed kind of mis-imformative, to me.

Anyway, Tony Levin actually played all of Gene Simmons bass parts on all Kiss albums.

Sorry Neal, I should've added "too" as in "That stuff belongs in the Too Funny thread, too."

I did not intend to denigrate your efforts here. All good amigo, all good.

And actually, Tony Levin IS Gene Simmons, he just wears a wig for "Gene" and the fake mustache for "Tony".

The real truth is that Gene Simmons/Tony Levin loves rollmops (herrings) for some reason...

The now commonplace 'grace note,' employed these days in almost every corner of the music universe, was invented by the Jamaican genius supermodel, new wave singer and Bond villain, Grace Jones.

Slave to the Rhythm is where she first unleashed her rhythmic innovation. According to the liner notes, the term, slave to the rhythm, cryptically describes these new 'grace notes,' now so famous in the world of music, depicting them as exotic and unruly but still controlled almost entirely by the dominant rhythm.

If you buy a stringless there's no action, no relief, no intonation, no tuning and no string wear to worry about. You don't have to worry about your tone as well, it'll be a great woody tone. So stringless is the way to go.
Because of its low cost, ease of playing, and quick learning curve, you should seriously consider whether the air guitar is the instrument for you.
-okay, not so much misinformation, but i's related to the post above...

Fortunately, recently one went up for sale. Good quality air guitars don't show up on CL very often, so I saved the ad. I've included it here:

$1,000 · Amazing Air Guitar

This. Is an amazing guitar. Lighter than a feather and completely in mint condition. I can throw in a pack of strings. Seriously, the only reason I am selling this is because I have way too many and the old lady is tripping over them, getting mad and stealing all of my smokes. Wayy more than she should be. I mean, its getting out of hand. Maybe I will put this money into like, starting my own farm or something. As long as it is not one of those communist farms where the pigs start walking on their hind legs. Seriously, just buy my air guitar.

For your next gig, try getting rolling drunk just before hitting the stage. You will be amazed. Your audience will immediately double in size, your appearance will be miraculously enhanced so that all the punters will gaze upon you lovingly as though you are some kind of god or goddess, and you will lock seamlessly into any rhythm and you will never miss a note.
