It was revealed today that Bootsy Collins ghosted in the studio on all the Air Supply and Billy Ray Cyrus albums.
The hate Michael Anthony gets from bassists is a matter of keeping the universe in balance. There are four bassists that non-bassists have heard of: Sting, Pete Wentz, Flea and Michael Anthony. Bassists have to like two and hate two to keep things even.
And no, Paul McCartney doesn't count as a bassist that non-bassists have heard of. He played guitar in that recent Rihanna video so most people think he's a guitarist.
