Let's spread some musical misinformation

In 1790 the French proposed metrication of scales, meaning there would be only ten notes, logically labelled A to J with the reference A being 300Hz (wavelength of one cycle thus being 1m), allowing you to convert your music into a series of weights and measures if required, or to convert your shopping list into a memorable ditty.

The only 20th century album known to be recorded using this scale was the aptly named Metamatic by John Foxx.
