All drummers are born tone deaf. This can be corrected with repeated exposure to cranked Les Pauls played through full Marshall rigs, and high octane mega-bass, over a period of no less than fifteen years duration, at which time they'll have become profoundly deaf and the tone deafness will be nullified.
They'll then believe they have perfect pitch, and absolutely everything will sound amazing to their ears. It's a miracle cure. As a consequence of this treatment, some ex-drummers, like Luke Pavarotti and Vic Caruso, have even gone on to become rich and famous opera megastars.
