Iron Maiden album covers feature clones that are not yet complete.
Corrrect..but cloning often produces mistakes and aberrations....here we see an attempt by IM to kill off a clone gone wrong...
Members of Iron Maiden smoked while onstage performing...and often had problems with the ashtray catching fire...
Paranormal events are a close second behind cloning in the music industry.

It's not just white noise. Sure, it's mostly white noise, but you will occasionally find a few minorities in death metal bands.
After many years and much consternation, The Eagles decided to change their name to The Wild Turkeys. Everything went along swimmingly, at first. Then somebody lit a match.
FM Recorded Black Noise. But they were alternative, not death metal.

The official story is that Bonnie Jo Mason was Cherilyn Sarkisyan whom we all know as Cher. She is said to have recorded this song using the Mason alias before she met Sonny Bono.
But it's all hogwash.
Cher had herself cloned and named the clone Bonnie Jo Mason.
All profits from the sale of BJM's records went to Cher after a small stipend for the producer.

Simon Cowell is not only a record producer, but also a molecular geneticist. He developed a method for inserting genetic diversity into clones. This has allowed him to clone Lief Garret multiple times and create new pop stars and boy bands around clones. Because the clones a legally "property" he is not obligated to pay them.
Tubular Bells was actually recorded live not via overdubs after Richard Branson, with the aid of Simon Cowell, repeatedly cloned Mike Oldfield. The spare clones are now in cold storage and are used to provide replacement organs for what is hoped is the original Oldfield, but since they forgot to label them, noone is sure it is.
