Let's spread some musical misinformation

Most live acts now use wireless. This is not to prevent them from tripping on cords, it is actually so that the audience don't realize that the people on stage are not actually playing, but instead, the studio tracks are being played through the PA.

In fact, this is what lead to Milli Vanilli being discovered as frauds - they had wanted to sing on stage but were prevented by the record company. The record companies are on this, as they get paid a royalty for performance of the recording, but do not get paid for a live performance.

Ain't that the truth?

The Epihone Jack Casady Signature bass 2011 (very)Limited Edition in 3 Tone Oldburst with the solid titanium pickguard not only plays itself when plugged into a toasted tuna sandwich, but it comes with a lifetime's supply of Hellman's Mayonnaise.

And for some reason, it works fine with Hellmans, but will not work with either Kraft mayonnaise or Miracle Whip. I refuse to make the effort to make mayonnaise from scratch to see if that works. I really want it to work as I have heard that it is the only way to get true Jamerson tone.

As part of it's restructuring, Fender has partnered with Apple and is introducing the "iTRS80" bass.
They named it the iTRS80 in honor of RadioShack's pioneer work in the computer field.

This bass has onboard storage of 640 Mb..which they claim is enough for anybody.

This bass is all about apps. and remote ability. You don't need to be at a gig to play it. Just have a band member set it up onstage and you can play from wherever you like.

One of the cool things it has is "DNA recognition". It registers your DNA, subs a password and will only play for you. If a drunk walks up on stage and grabs your bass between sets it will not play for him.

The "Play" mechanism is a result of Fender and Apple's combined technology christened FAPP.

When coupled with their CRAP electronics ( Certified Resonator Audio Partitioning) a sound like no other is produced from a remote device.

There is an optional remote MEOW pedal available ( Maximum Evolution Oscillating Wah).

A genetically superior seven-string bass is available. It is tuned GATTACA.
It goes without saying that the note 'T' was created to reflect proper genetic sequencing.
This changed the humble four-string played by in-valids to the tuning of GATC, but they aren't allowed further strings since they clearly will never be able to play them properly.

This bass works well with the new stereo-replicator module from Popeil/Ronco that uses SHART technology ( Signal Harmonics Alternating Relay Transmitter).

Awesome for playing "GATTACA The Killer Tomatoes "

Ginger Baker is one of the nicest, sweetest, most giving individuals in music. He routinely takes young musicians under his wing to mentor. He never has anything but a kind word for anyone.

Yes that is correct. And scores of people don't and never did understand the inner lovable goodnatured Ginger. Many often taunted and provoked him over and over until he snapped. Then they said he was a nasty person.

Shortly after this guy joined Jefferson Airplane...

...they changed the band name to Jefferson Starship.
