The reason the 4003 Rickenbackers are so expensive is it takes a lot of energy to transport them back to 2016.

Fender announced a new bass. Apart from producing the usual bass tone, it also produces anti lead guitar, eliminating up to 66.6% of the lead guitar's volume. It is called "The Eliminator".
Fender announced today it is filing for bankruptcy.
They alluded to part of the reason being that their product line now contains so many choices that people can't make up their minds what to buy and end up purchasing nothing.
Usually companies file either chapter 7 or 11, depending on whether they are liquidating or reorganizing. Fender is filing under either chapter 8 or 9 both of which allows them to relabel goods made in Mexico, Indonesia and Japan as made in America. This will increase the value of their inventory and will raise the selling price of all their goods. But under chapter 8, they must improve the quality of US made goods to match the relabelled goods. It is speculated that they will take the easier chapter 9 route of introducing faults into the relabeled goods.
Correct, in fact the picture clearly shows Fender at the peak of its post Car Body Setup era or CBS era as most call it.While litigation continues, some employees have slacked off and are working on side projects at the factory.

Actually upon closer inspection I think this might be a shot of the Gibson shop. Note the lack of Fenders in the picture. While litigation continues, some employees have slacked off and are working on side projects at the factory.

The mods required to actually use these strings are time consuming and too expensive IMHO.Pickups with weak magnets? No problem! Try Ernie Ball's new Neodymium bass strings.
But the Stigge Bass is a 2 string beginners instrument......Of course, you can always go the Stigge route...
