Let's spread some musical misinformation

All this tort-talk...

I was just thinking about the junior-high wood-shop project — we had to make a stool with planks and dowels and glue, not nails or screws allowed.

Everybody had at least one of their slabs break or crack, the instructor's solution was a very large can of plastic-wood filler. Naturally, I refused to use the wood filler and kept sourcing a new piece of wood when what I had cracked or split clean in two. The instructor intervened and said I could have no more wood — it was all hit-with-a-capital-S-in-front anyway.

So I had to use the plastic-wood-filler ... it gives off pungent fumes, pretty soon I didn't care about the crappy wood, the stool of a stool — a few of us were having a grand ol' time joking around with smelling the pot of filler. Talk about runnin' on fumes...

Worst headache ever afterwards, though.

So like I said, I was thinking of that stuff and how it would make a great guitar body, and with enough reinforcement, even a neck. So I've started carving a mould out of foam that resembles a cross between a Thunderbird and a Jaguar... I'm making two half-shells so I can get the electronics in and then I'll wood-glue it together for a bitchin' semi-hollow body. This time, I'm wearing a respirator... but so far I can't find 5-gallon pales of the stuff, not even by the gallon...

So, yeah, to torte or not to torte the wood-filler Fenbird Thunduar?

Lol! I totally missed that and I've got a JD! What first year student doesn't know about torts?! Ok... it was a long time ago, and besides, I've got Oldtimers!

It's ok, Oldtimer's affects many people. We here at Talkbass can help. Also, retraining to be a paralegal, so I just finished the classes on torts... My brain hurts. No basses were harmed in that class though.
