Let's spread some musical misinformation

The new G&L Kiloton bass is very appropriately named. It is a H E A V Y bass. The owner's manual contains a section with exercises for strengthening your back, and now, for a limited time only, Musician's Friend is including with every Kiloton purchase a $50 coupon good for any chiropractor of your choice.

G&L basses aren't heavy at all. G&L stands for Graceful and Light.

The truth about the P-Bass.

When Leo named the P-Bass he didn't have "precision" in mind. He was a huge Punk Rock fan, so P-Bass actually means Punk Bass, like J-Bass stands for Jazz Bass. As he knew a Punk Bass wouldn't sell, he came up with Precision Bass. The plan was to change the name later on, but the majority of punk rock bands already had found their way to the P-Bass, so there was no need to do so.

If you ever get your hands on the rarest of the rare - an M bass - you have found the best bass for metal.

LOL!! I'm sure you know what pick to use to get the best out of it.

Geddy Lee's index finger is registered as a deadly weapon in Canada. Rush gave up touring because of the immigration difficulties involved in importing that weapon.

Back in the fifteenth century the English beat the French at the Agincourt bass lute-off due to the superior two finger picking technique, hence the hand gesture. The French objected and there were some fisticuffs.

The American colonists adopted the banjo because they knew the British would not compete. The British disagreed, and there were some fisticuffs.
