Let's spread some musical misinformation

Few people realize that James Marshall Hendrix actually founded the amp company named after him.

Leo Fender was never associated with the Fender label, was sued and lost to Fender Founder Freddy Fender.
That is why Jimi faked his death - full time amp manufacturing. He knew there was no money to be made playing music.

The band Soft Machine hit hard times by the early 1980s and was briefly Microsoft Machine under a sponsorship deal. The band was originally asked to create the startup sound for Windows 95, but the producer, Brian Eno, thought its efforts were not worthy and substituted his own brief creation.

Later Brian Eno worked on Clippy. "It looks like you are writing a letter. What would your closest friend do?" or "It looks like you are creating your resume. Try faking it!" and Microsoft Office's spell checker "Honour thy error as a hidden intention."
