Let's spread some musical misinformation

Allright, I know this thread is for fun and all, but I feel its time to tell some TRUTH here. And I believe the posters in this thread are the only ones who can handle it. The rest of TB is too immature and brainwashed by GAS and solvents in attempts to clean their Rotosounds.

You all may have heard the ancient phrase, "The Music of the Spheres". Well let me tell you something. My Father was an Air Force pilot, and knew some people in the test flight programs, as well as in the CIA. They used to come over sometimes for dinner. Often later in the evening, after us kids had been put to bed, they would be chatting in hushed tones in the living room, smoking tobacco pipes. They never knew I was listening at the top of the stairs.

You probably know where this is going. Yes, they spoke of flying saucers, and the programs to retro-engineer them. Bob Lazar kind of stuff. All very true. But what you may not have heard about is that music itself comes from space. Remember Sun Ra? Everything he said was true. Not only was Sun Ra from Saturn, but 90% of the popular music stars of the 50's-90's were from other planets and stars. David Bowie almost didn't have a career because he was too obvious. The Beatles, the Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, most of our R&B heroes and heroines, and even the Wrecking Crew themselves - all aliens.

This doesn't mean that humans aren't good at music. James Brown was human. Aretha. Janis. As was Johnny Cash. Nashville was especially resistant to the alien agenda, but eventually they fell to the plan when Garth Brooks was taken out of the picture, his personality scrambled by microwaves. (wear your helmets, people. it's not a joke.) Fortunately, Garth recovered from the psychic assault. He was to be the one to usher in "nu-country". The man's eyes bled from the sockets as he resisted, God Bless him. When the attempt at personality-change failed, they killed his career.

By the early 2000's, pop stars were being manufactured here on Earth, using alien DNA and genetic engineering. Yes, sometimes bovine DNA was used in the process, but Alex Jones was wrong. It was not to create hybrids, but the bovine DNA was used as a readily available base code only. The Top 40 songs of today were in fact written and selected for hits before the pop stars were even hatched. Gone are the days of authentic alien musicians, and I think we all recognize this. It's important not to blame the test-tube pop stars - they had no choice, and in most cases, are tragically not aware of their own origins.

I tell you all of this as not part of an anti-alien sentiment, but the lies and deceptions must stop. Humans and space people can make music together, openly. The 70's held much such promise. Let us not Go Back, but Go Back to the Future.

The Fender Custom color known as "Antigua" was discovered after a three day marathon meeting by Fender execs trying to spice up the boring finish options available at the time (Black, White, Walnut, Natural, and Sunburst). During a restroom break, one exec happened to look down at his discolored briefs and was so embarrassed he told one of his colleagues of his horror. The colleague suggested it as a color option and the rest is history. And that was before it faded to a brownish grey!
