Let's spread some musical misinformation

I had an amazing conversation with our drummer after our gig last night
"Once upon a time there was a really intelligent musician. He was a percussionist, but because he was both humble and affable, he preferred to be called a drummer. After a gig one night he had an amazing conversation with the bassist in the band." STOP! Still don't buy it.

The least common percussion instrument in the symphony orchestra is the bass triangle. It is held in place by an industrial winch and struck with a tire iron. Due to its uncontrollable sustain, the bass triangle is usually used for emphasis on the last note of a composition (which usually turns out to be the last selection played during a concert, too, as the audience runs blindly towards the nearest exit while screaming in agony).
