I know this is misinformation, because the real Geddy would have written the song in 21/12, not 21/11

That's why no one understood they were actually covering the Beatles.

  8. There is an air guitar in every home built after 1923... It's the law!

So he's ready to jam with Hound Dog Taylor?

"Taylor was born in Natchez, Mississippi, in 1915, though some sources say 1917. He initially played the piano and began playing the guitar when he was 20. ... He was famous among guitar players for having six fingers on both hands, a condition called polydactyly."

He put a slide on that extra finger...

  10. I have a rare, vintage 1922 air guitar. And the cops are none the wiser!

  11. Django only needed two fingers.
  12. Only 'cause he was a duodactyl, did Reinhardt fail to employ a physical brass or glass slide as per Bluesers such as Hound Dog Taylor.
To compensate, and make those impossible sounds of his fingers sliding up the neck, his brother Joseph holding the guitar would running past Django's stationary outstretched hand and fingers.

"Vite! Vite!" he would implore Joseph, vying for ever-faster finger slides.

AN' THAT, chillun, is why they're called "RUNS".

  13. All members of TalkBass's MUFF CLuB are given a number as per most other TB clubs, but MUFFaholics are numbered appropriately thusly...

    #3.1 the first joining member
#3.14 2nd clubber to join up
    #3.141 3rd to join & so on
    #3.1415 add another one
    #3.14159 and on and on
    #3.141592 + one again
    #3.1415926 etc & etc
    #3.14159265 & etc

So they were a .... band on the run? Wondered where those lyrics came from.

That's the problem, but the music industry could always find a place for him as an agent, manager, or record exec. 'Greasy' them becomes a marketable asset.

For a clear signal, use cords with straight jacks. Right angle jacks are known to dampen .0005 % of the amplitude of frequencies over 15K.

There were plans for a supergroup consisting of Geddy Lee, Heavy D, Sheila E, Jay-Z, Ice-T and Kenny G.
They were going to be called "DGEZLT"... But, it fell through.
  18. That is a good thing for bass!

The right angle jack is best for bass. However for left handed basses, a left angle jack is beast.
  19. Geddy, Jay-Z, and Heavy D are collaborating on a Spinal Tap tribute. Working title: Heavy Ged and the Jayz.

Alex Lifeson is working with Ice T on an Bruce Springsteen tribute. Long Island Life's Tea.
