Meat Loaf is the most common phrase used as a 'safe word' in BDSM circles.

    Apparently it translates to:

I Would Do Anything For Love... But I Won't Do That!

  2. If you play a P bass more than once a night you may want to have your prostate examined!

How to revive strings, is something manufacturers don't want you to know. Here's a foolproof recipe: Put them in the microwave, let them experience thunder and lightning for just one minute and they'll be brand new again.

Disclaimer: Children (that includes musicians, who are only taller than children) don't try this at home or any place in the known universe and beyond.

  4. Are you back to giving your "amateur proctology exams"?

  6. The original Fender Jazz basses used re cut Precision bodies that had failed quality control.

I have this on good authority from a friend of the cousin of the fiancé of the brother of the guy who takes orders in the local McDonalds drive through. Who was the bass player in a 70’s prog rock band who nearly made a record.

The first person to play a Music Man bass was a lady who wasn't the least bit musical.

  8. Metallica's 'black' album was originally going to be called the 'white' album.... but some little known British band had already released a 'White' album in late 1968

One of Fender's best selling basses was named as a spoonerism of the nicknames of the two people who helped design it.

    They're names?

in 2022 several countries will ban the colour orange from new song lyrics--so songwriters are feverishly writing orange lyrics to use during the ban.

  12. Many have already figured out the only the colour orange will be banned. The fruit will still be allowed, so lyricists are honing their "fruit chops".

In oriental countries, "fruit chops" are those little sticks they use to eat fruit.

  14. J Pop has a whole sub-genre of fruit pop. K Pop not so and the sub-genre of kim-chi pop never caught on outside N Korea

Kim-chi pop is made by burying cd's in earthenware jugs for years. Dig them up when they're "ripe".

  16. Anyone outside of Korea will tell you that the music is ripe before it even goes in the ground. But national tastes are what they are. Americans thought Menudo was pretty good...

Jaco was actually a budding dentist and was practicing extractions when he removed the frets from the bass of doom.
