Hulk agreed to the job despite his preference for twin soapbar active basses and aversion to Rotosound flatwounds. However, what was meant to be just a pilot episode stretched to eight seasons during which Hogan was dragging the band into dangerously avant-garde jazz territory. When Harris heard the next album was to be titled Bring Your Daughter to the Freeform Improv Session he quit acting and resumed his rightful place.
