Let's spread some musical misinformation

James May is Brian May's brother. After Brian made his guitar out of the fireplace, James tried to make his out of the family's Triumph Spitfire but discovered he was more interested in cars than guitars, although he did manage to turn the overhead cam shaft into a serviceable whammy bar. The guitar was later sold to Jimi Hendrix who failed to put four star petrol in it, and used an inferior grade, leading it to catch fire on stage which he tried to claim was deliberate. Brian, being more environmentally minded, had made an electric guitar as is now the current fashion, and the CO2 emissions per riff are much lower.
They tried to start a new series, called Cars and Guitars, but the Hamster and the Orangutan kept Captain Slow from doing so.

Since Neil's death, Geddy and Alex have been teaching themselves surgery. Their first patient looked a bit bewildered when they explained health insurance to him.

This is them telling fellow Canadian Justin Bieber that the attempt to implant Geddy's left finger nail to give Bieber 100 times more talent had not been a success as the finger nail had rejected Bieber.

The first Stig in Top Gear was Stig from The Ruttles. Due to the risk of Ruttlemania breaking out, he had to keep his helmet on. Stig is also one half of Daft Punk. Eventually, Daft Punk commitments meant the need for a new TG Stig.

Little known fact — that first Top Gear Ruttles Stig is none other than Stig Pedersen from Denmark band Disnyland After Dark.
