Let's spread some musical misinformation

Flea actually hand made all sets of Flea signature strings until 1998. However, as the strings became more popular, he stopped making them himself and outsourced the work to GHS. Billy Sheehan still hand makes every set of his signature strings; Rotosound merely handles distribution for him.

Hellborg too - he made all three of the signature sets sold.

Chicago was originally called Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, but the band borrowed a Chicago Transport Authority band for gigs (handy as it could park anywhere and no one thought that there would be music gear inside) but outside Chicago people assumed that Chicago Transport Authority was the band name and it stuck, later shortened, of course. Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch wasn't going to fit on the side of a van anyway.

And he returned to music after finding that the market for his strings was only 3 sets.

There are still be 97 sets of the original run left sitting in the back of a cupboard at Hellborg's house. The sets were sold to Hellborg's mother (she wanted to show support), Jonas Hellborg, and to Mrs. Trellis of North Wales who thought she was buying hellebores. She planted them, and now has a lovely string tree.

Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch of course is Welsh for Windy City Bus.

Inflation has forced many bands to update the lyrics to their older hits. For example, Skynyrd are expensive as a bird now, and this bird you cannot afford.

Yes. The Eagles will be rebranding to The Chicken Hawks so that people can afford to come to gigs. It's just far enough away from. Chickenshack (now Sparrowcoup) to not attract legal issues.

A Flock of Seagulls is now A Solitary Seagull, but that's not anything to do with inflation, just band attrition.

Duran Duran is now 50% off as just Duran.

Spandau Ballet, though, has new sponsorship and the hit 'Gold' is now 'Bitcoin'.
