That's why I live in the lowest part of the Netherlands, 23 feet below sea level. My cab and head are just a bit too heavy.

Pickups for electrical instruments are wound from metal wire. For acoustic instruments nylon wire is used, which has the advantage of being 100% free of hum and noise.

Long cable runs will shortly be reconstructed with nylon wire to avoid those pesky ground loops and taxi radios.
