I think you are confusing WW2 with an Emerson, Lake and Palmer song. The UK did warn Germany in 1939 that if things continued it would be forced to place its men, top men, onto creating progressive rock, even if it took thirty years, and the UK would have its revenge. And the UK was true to its word, down to the very year.
