Light beer for playing bass?

For practice I will do 1 shot of tequila with the beater, and then 1 IPA during practice, maybe, but infrequently I will have a 2nd (I like Red Hook). During gigs it's usually Miller Lite, no more than 1 per set.

Are you kidding me, a triple IPA? I love Dogfish Head 90 IPA (9%), and a local micro brewery has Hops Rising (9.6%), but a triple IPA I've only seen once, at Yazoo for their 5th Anniversary. Where is it brewed?

I'm drinking Red Hook right now.
By the time I'm finished, I'll be calling it Hong Lammer!

My motto: "Life is too short for lite beer."

The "lite" stuff never touches my lips unless I'm at a friend's house and there is nothing else available. I won't spurn their choice and be discourteous, but it tastes like water with an off-taste.

Get me a porter, a stout, or an amber ale. Nothing that has any word related to "lite/light" on the label. I'll only have one pint, but it will be a worthwhile pint with real flavor.
