whoa. did anyone else notice that the TI box is now $300? I was debating buying one at $119, but apparently waited too long.

Do you mean the DiVision? The TI Box still seems to be under 200$.

Looks like I grabbed the TI Box and 2020s just at the right time. Even though I'm in Europe and will get hit with customs etc. on top, the price was still reasonable in total for handmade stuff. Now I'd have to think twice :nailbiting:

no, the TI was at $300 for a day or two due to the increase in materials. I posted, and then a day later I saw it was down to $189, which seems more reasonable.

Can confirm. I saw that post and couldnt believe it so I checked and sure enough it had spiked to 300. What crazy times!

Ok, I missed that then.

I'm very sorry to have to post this, but business is at a halt for an unknown amount of time. Practically nothing is for sale on my website until the materials situation gets resolved. Nickel - 2022 Data - 1993-2021 Historical - 2023 Forecast - Price - Quote - Chart Nickel is the issue, but more specifically my ability to procure more shielding cans. I have 32 cans in stock, which I have decided to allocate towards my upcoming 500 series mic preamp. Meanwhile, I have several ideas for how to resolve this situation. My supplier for the cans is in the UK. My backup supplier is in Russia - so no go on that one! Any change in the can design will require me to redesign the transformer bobbins and every circuit board I have, so I will do what I can to stick with the existing design. There's a Chinese company that may be able to supply me with a clone, but over the past month I've been making moves to eliminate my business dealings with Chinese companies. I may reach out to them if all else fails. My leading idea sorta sucks because its much more work for me and for certain products like the 2020S, its not going to work. That is to make the cans in house using some techniques I perfected between January-February. I could 3D print (High resolution SLA resin printer) plastic boxes with internal dimensions equal to my shielding cans. The outside would be larger because the plastic walls will need to be a little thicker. I have plenty of nickel paint, so I can paint them in a thin layer of nickel paint. This will then allow me to electroplate them in nickel. I also have the electroplating setup with plenty of scrap nickel. I don't really want to do all of this because its a lot of work (time). I'm waiting until this Friday in hopes of hearing back from my can supplier. If I don't hear back, then Monday I'll reach out to the Chinese company while simultaneously embarking on the DIY can project. I'll follow up with another post on here once the issue is resolved. For the time being there will be no sales. I'm sorry.

All the materials are ordered in bulk for an estimated 1-1.5yr supply and at a comparable price to what I paid last year. I should be able to reopen my webstore within about 2 weeks.
Glad to see you’re rising from the ashes!
On a “Hey this guy’s stuff is for real” note, I got a couple of the LBA 2020’s (v1) in a trade today. I put them in the FX loops of my Boss GT 1000 CORE, and oh my! I’ve moved the loops around to find the “right” spot in the chain for them, and I’m really pushing the send on them to get the most out of the transformers. They have really brought my all digital tone to life. Super punchy, warm and responsive!

I have 4 LBA 2020s in my chain. 2 at the beginning of my chain and the 2 at the end right before my Noble. now, I just ordered an Origin Effect Bass Rig SV that I’m planning on running after the Noble.

I’m wondering about putting the last 2 between the Noble and SV, or if I should leave it before the Noble. Thoughts?

Cool. Only way to find out is to try.
