Yeah, I'm happy to hit the Like button at just about every opportunity. I'd argue for the Triple Like button before the Dislike button.
Maybe it's the endorphins...

Correct. So if you want a high like/post ratio, post mostly in OT. (See how meaningful that ratio is?) Heck, if someone never posted anywhere else, it should be infinite.

Is OT considered a dumping ground of sorts for when you have nothing to say about your G-K or Fender AVRI etc, you go and babble about anything (except as restricted)?

IDK, seems like a good gathering place for when one wants to take a breather from all the serious and technical stuff about gear and, uhhh gear, and......Playing/setting up said gear?

Maybe after 10 long years like some others I'll have a clue. Then again, maybe not!

I am doing the best I can with my ratio by staying off topic. I think most of my posts are OT. I don't even like basses. I like everything else.

That, plus the fact that "likes" have been available for most or all of the time you've been posting. For those of us who have been around here much longer, many or most of our posts were made before anybody could "like" them. If post/like ratios are to mean anything at all they would have to be computed based on the number of posts since the "like" system went into effect rather than number of posts since joining.
