90% of the time I access TB on my phone. The mobile website compresses the information enough that only the posters name and avatar are shown. On the rare times I use my computer or iPad, where counts and likes and points, etc. are shown, I see the extraneous info.

I do sometimes click on a user's avatar to see where they live or when they joined, and I see the stats then too. And I think to myself, what a wonderful world.

In addition to the +1 phenomena, there was a perception by some of the powers that be that the Stereotype The Person Above You thread was used by some members to boost their post count.

I've never paid any attention to how many likes I've received, until now. I have to point out that a drummer has actually had over 2,900 instances where a bassist liked their posts. Remarkable.

You should get extra Internet points for posting a pic of so many Siamese cats in one place. There are even more bonus points for 2 of those cats being lynx points, which are a cross between between a Siamese and tabby. I have 2 of them. One looks like the blue point in the photo and the one in my avatar has broken stripes on his back.
