Its surprisingly responsive to playing dynamics too. Stacks super well with a heavier darkglass AOU overdrive too.
In a FB group a guitarist said they use the 70s Chorus as an always on preamp effect. I haven't tried it yet.

...I'm curious...In a FB group a guitarist said they use the 70s Chorus as an always on preamp effect. I haven't tried it yet.
Ooooo share settings??Absolutely. I run the legacy Sub Oct Fuzz in front of it and they combine super well. I’m tempted to spend time seeing if I can dial the dirt and a subtle envelope to get some “dream” dirty filter in my head, but maybe I should just let sleeping dogs lie![]()
Do anyone notice change in tone A/B comparing digital and analog bypass?Hm... that is actually a really huge AD/DA chain...

To be honest - for me that would result in too much. No matter how good these devices are, but this is too much. However, it will be significantly less when not all devices are used, not all loops are on.
With a chain that long, a fully digital setup might make sense. Our industry is too small for a real digital connection in between pedals.
Maybe because of the diference of the input impedance? Bad quality cables? I am using 2 short Roland cablesDo anyone notice change in tone A/B comparing digital and analog bypass?
I think I loose attack
Ooooo share settings??
Yeeee the subbyoccyFor the sub oct fuzz or the dream dirty filter? I’m figuring out if the dream filter can be done with the Asheville alone still, but I can share the SOF settings that I run before the Asheville if you’d like!
Yeeee the subbyoccy
Before or after the ash?Sure!
Drive: 55%
Bass: 75%
Sub: 11% (this varies widely patch to patch. For boosting the Asheville, less is better)
Treble: 16%
Output: 42%
This variation is meant to stack well with the Asheville and act as a more mild synth-y fuzz on it’s own.
Generally before. I would rather boost the Asheville than the fuzz (if that makes any actual sense), but I may play around with the order when I get a chance. Before or after the ash?

Share the teemah settings bruhhhhhI tried your settings at lunch! Both ways in the signal order sound good, but I do also prefer the Sub Oct first. It's a good sound, and I actually forgot about that Sub Oct Fuzz... Good even on it's own.
But I do still prefer the Teemah as my go-to drive in the HXFX!

Share the teemah settings bruhhhhh
Imma play with these mofos this weekend! No sweat. The first three are my main settings, which I've got set up with no treble cut as I control that at my bass. But the Teemah is my Go-To dirt in the HX, and the power is in the Bass/Treble Cut controls. It's good everything from warm tubey grit to Muff style fuzz. Add a 10-band EQ block after it for some nifty tone shaping possibilities.
Teemah Light
- Adds just a real slight rasp and a little extra harmonic content
- nice as an "always on" in some situations
- sounds amazing with my P bass/flatwounds (Dunlop)... Dial the tone knob back to 50% for a super Motown vibe. Nice and warm with just a little tube-ish grit.

Teemah Medium
- I turn this one on when I'm using a pick to add just a little bit of grind to the sound. KILLS on songs like Rebel Yell and The Middle
- A slight bass cut helps tighten the sound up a bit

Teemah Heavy
- For when I need some crunch
- A little more bass cut because there's a quite a bit more gain

Teemah Fuzz
- A good starting point for getting into some great Fuzz territory
- Dial down the Bass Cut for more thickness
- Dial down the Treble Cut for a lot more bite

The Teemah is such an excellent drive I can’t fault you for loving it! It was my #1 for so long and probably will be once the honeymoon with the Asheville wears off. But I love tweaking the filters and trying to dial specifically peak-y and unique drives. And the Sub Oct is such a great fuzz, I’m surprised it’s a legacy effect. Really demonstrates how dismissive people were of Line 6 before the Helix dropped.

The Legacy effects definitely sound better in the HX than they did in the M series. They sound more Hifi most likely due to the improved components.
