Line 6 HX One

Pedal order question;

I have an HX One on the way. My other pedals are TU-3, Empress Compressor MkII, Xotic RC Bass Boost, SA Zio.

Really just asking where the HXO should go, before or after the RC. I like my compressor up front and the Zio at the end for the line out.
After the RC would make the most sense IMO. Unless you don't want the HX boosted along with the rest of your sound when you use the RC. Which is also a valid option, albeit a less common one. There's no wrong way. There's only the way that works for you =]

Compression and boost before the HX One can elevate many effects nicely. The always present optional noise gate is there if the pre-effects get noisy.

Just got one of these. Which settings work best with bass or what are your favorites?

All the chorus effects sound good. Retro Reel is killer. The Poly Capo may be the main reason I haven’t parted with the HX One.
The Noble, Darkglass, and Sansamp preamp all sound really good.
Good EQ options if you need them.
I haven’t really tried the compressors that much, but they are difficult to dial in in my experience.

The drives, other than the preamps mentioned above leave a whole lot to be desired.

Question for HX One owner. I'd like to know if it's a really true bypass or not. My tuner is a true bypass, meaning I can remove the 9v power and the signal is still passing thru unaffected. Is it the same with the HX One in true bypass mode? Can you disconnect the 9v power and still have your signal passing thru?

I don’t think so.

Yes, I have taken the 9v power and unplugged it, and the pedal still passes the signal.

What‘s the name of the noble DI in the HX One?

I'm sending one indirectly into a second.

Tonight's special: "Tube Echo" ...> "Dynamic Plate"

There are several signal processing options in "Regal DI", such as an HPF, but, I'd pick a dedicated DI for the balanced out.
