List the best cabs from each brand!

Hello there! I’m currently developing a top-secret product and don’t want to spoil too much, but I’m positive it will be something every bassist would love to play with.

Could you help me gather a list of the most iconic cabs from each brand? The ones that would be more representative, or more associated with a known sound, or more “sellable”.

This is not related to any specific genre.
I’ll start with:
- Ampeg 8x10 Heritage
- Ampeg 4x10 HLF
- Markbass 104HF

Could you help me with the following brands:
- Hartke
- Gallien Krueger
- Orange
- Fender
- Mesa
- Aguilar
- EBS
- Ashdown
- Darkglass
- Others I’m missing? (Perhaps Barefaced)

Thanks for your time!

Iconic, "more representative", and "more sellable" per brand would probably be three separate lists....

FWIW, (and I'm sure others will disagree, but in my head iconic means old enough to stand out over time), my personal list of "iconic" bass cabs is pretty short (some are combos):
Ampeg 810 frig, old flip-top 15
Acoustic 2x15
Kustom tuck and roll 215
Fender Bassman 212
SWR Henry 8x8, red head 210
Eden 410XLT (maybe?)

Orange OBC115

This is really an "iconic" design and sounds great! :bassist:

Interested about the Bassman 212. Similar question as above: why 212 and not 210/410/610 etc?

If size/weight wasn’t an issue, which 1x15s would you still pick against their bigger brothers?
RevSound has a 400 watt @ 8 Ohm - 115"X" cabinet that I've played that is really nice. The designer was a speaker designer for Celestian or Eminence IIRC. It works well. This is NOT a BIG cabinet.

I have wanted to checkout one of the Warwick Helborg 115CC (Club Cabinet) 250 watts @ 8 Ohms with a coaxial 15" speaker. It's ported as is the RevSound or Orange but has an extended response. Just curiosity.

For myself, the Orange checked most boxes for me so I grabbed it. I've owned, played or checked out a bunch of Bass gear. There are great sounding cabinets out there in all size, shapes, performance specifications, tonal characteristics and price ranges.

Try before ya buy, if at all possible. :cigar:
