if im ever scouring MF or GC for cheap gold what basses should i look for

"Cheap gold" is often a pipe dream. The mid-price basses from Yamaha and Ibanez are usually good value for money, but their bottom-price ones are certainly not "gold".

I bought a Washburn acoustic guitar about a year ago and ever since I notice that their prices for Washburn basses seem low. I might get one in the future. It seems that they are good value...what ever that means....
