Looking for a Good Delay Pedal

If you want to go all in the new Grand Canyon Delay from EHX is just about 250$ from new, sounds amazing and is capable of almost everything delay related, plus all the parameters can be assigned to an expression pedal.
Also functions as a looper that can handle up to 16 minutes of samples.

Otherwise for a cheaper and smaller option the EHX Canyon is an amazing delay pedal as well in a small enclosure but still with a lot of features build in.

The Grand Canyon seems really interesting but unfortunately it's too recent to find it used and 250$ is too out of budget :(
I could try with the small one, and maybe upgrade later if I see I can really do what I have in mind with a good result

Tap tempo...LOL! Why, back in my day, we set delays using nothing but our ears and we liked it!

...and then it felt like such a big improvement when you realized what could be achieved with a metronome & a pocket calculator...until you realized that whipping them out on a gig branded you irreparably as a First Degree Nerd.
