looking for a jazz bass.....seek comments

Hi all,

I'm a player but havent played for years, and recently want to "re-pick" my bass again, and looking for a 4-str jazz bass to start. I would like to seek comments from for the followings:-

1. Fender american vintage 74 jazz
2. Lakland skyline 44-60 custom
3. Sandberg california passive tt-4

haven't tried the 2nd & the 3rd one. see if anyone of you own one and let me know your feeling.

(pls dun tell me to go for sadowsky.......not affordable to me)

thanks all!

Hey Stan.

If you have an opportunity to compare a Fender USA Geddy model to your American Vintage 74. Very well made, with another neck profile that may suit you. Sound-wise, I don't know your intent, but I've found the GL to be quite versatile.
