I'm still seriously impressed by the Fender Rumble. I'm low-key gassing for one as we speak. I'd go for it. I know it can be more exciting to get something you don't already have, but as they say, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."

Any suggestions/input/opinions/whatever?
Thanks in advance,

i almost bought the TC BG250 15, but i tried out several in various locations, and i found that while i liked the tone, it wasn't as versatile as some of the other combos i tried and it wasn't as loud as the other combos. the tone print feature hasn't thrilled people who own it who have posted here for a couple reasons. some people's amps got stuck on a tone print profile and they couldn't turn it off. other people weren't pleased with the sounds. some people love it.
of the ones on your list, i'd go for the rumble. they seem to be very reliable - i see very few complaints about the rumble series. and you like them, always a plus.
is there a reason the ampeg BA-115 and BA-210 aren't on your list?
I like this idea although if I bought one now I would be crying rest of the year LOL.buy once, cry once
get a mesa walkabout used
Yeah, I don't care what the latest fad is.
I routinely play a TCE BG250-115 Mk1 with a couple of different bands and it always works well.
The current fad seems to be MarkBass... We'll see how long that lasts.
A guy playing a TCE is calling Markbass combos a "fad"? Now that is funny.
I wasn't trying to be funny, but if you're amused then I'm glad.A guy playing a TCE is calling Markbass combos a "fad"? Now that is funny.
I can't see a lot of point buying a combo when the new heads go in your gig bag and the cabs are light. My separate head and cab are much easier to navigate and more versatile down the road.

I'm old and jaded enough to know there will be a lot fashion conscious people selling their bright yellow and black amps when the next cool thing comes along.
Didn't you like the Warwick? I'd call Warwick, explain what happened, and see what they can do on a repair or (more likely) exchange. Let them know your school's position too. They may just help you for the PR value.
I have a BC series combo, and it is head and shoulders above the same size Rumble, having tried both.
