Looking for a pro strap

That's no problem. If you like the Levi strap, you can always use the ".40 cent rubber washer straplock system". Get them at any hardware store, and use them like this:

Personally, I prefer the Comfort Strapp, but you're looking for leather, so that eliminates the Comfort Strapp.

I have strap-loks on my Levy's straps. I compressed the leather a bit by threading a bolt through the strap holes with washers and then tightened them up to squish the leather a tiny bit. I left the strap like this for a day and then installing the loks was a sinch.

I guess I'm just overly simple minded, but a black nylon Ernie Ball strap is all I use,
and I have at times had bass playing as my only income.

However, I can handle SOME inovation and comfort:
I am now experimenting with the RWGBSLS
--that's the Red Washer Grolsch Beer Strap Lock System. :D :D :D

If you really want to rehash what I said you might admit that I didn't say that a Dunlop would fit on any strap regardless of thickness. It was clear from what you said that you were pretty clueless about how to install Dunlops, period, judging by how you managed to bend those thick, heavy duty c clips that come with them. That takes talent. I explained how to install them for people like you who couldn't figure it out on their own. It's not really complicated at all.

But...but.
