Looking for multi FX, headphone out, Bluetooth in

Thanks, it's a bit complicated, but since I already own a HX Stomp, I might look into this for silent practice with playback music from my phone, for hollidays for example

If you already own an hx stomp, get the right chord and use the return/aux in. Take you a sec to find the setting to change return into an aux in but then you're done.

The concept is evolving. I think for the sake of adoption, I need to keep the interface as simple as possible. Adding a Darkglass Element is an elegant, if expensive, solution to the Bluetooth/cab sim problem, but frees me up to look at other options.

I think if it weren't for the octaver tone on the Tech21 Fly Rig Bass, that would be a perfect box. Everything is analog and laid out right there, with no menus. I went and played the Boss GT-B1, which was not bad, a little tricky to use. I tried the HX Stomp, and it's going to be too complicated, nice quality though it is. The Zoom B1 (something) was in stock but didn't seem to suffer any less from "menuitis".

The design I liked by far and away the best, and that I think would be adopted easily, is the TC Plethora X3 (plus Darkglass Element). It's just easy to make it whatever 3 pedals that you need at that moment, a very simple interface. Trouble is, there are no filter or gain pedals in it. Darn.

I just can't nail it with anything that currently exists. If TC were to announce that they were adding more pedals, then great, but I haven't seen anything like this.

You might want to look at the NUX Mighty Air. I think it might tick all your boxes. It’s a small amp similar in appearance and design to the previously mentioned Positive Grid Spark. But being newer it does the Spark a few points better when it comes to features. Sound and build quality of both amps are equal IMO.

I ended up picking the Zoom B3n. Great little box that is WAY easier to use, particularly in stomp mode, than I was expecting. Then he can gig it, too, and he currently owns no pedals, so this'll start him on the mystical journey that is BASS EFFECTS. He can start with a cable, or a cheap BT adapter, and add a DG Element to a future pedalboard.

The app's interface is not the best and some effects are meh, but it's quite nice as a practice unit, cheap, light, battery powered, and you can record straight to your smartphone / tablet :
