I want to get a new fretless bass pretty soon, but I'm not a fan of the fret inlays and dots ON the fretboard, I like the clean look the bass gives without anything on the fretboard. I have a pretty small budget. I just want to find the cheapest, 5 string bass, with no fret inlays or anything.

If you can find an older (early 2000s) Musicman SUB, they are great basses. Mine is a fretless 5-string, passive, with side dots and a beautiful, clean fretboard.
