check out Umphrey's Mcgee. They are easliy the most talented new band out there. An amazing live band, and they can rock out in the studio. The october 04 issue of BP (with brian wilson on the cover) has an article about them. definantly worth checkin out http://www.umphreys.com/

I think it's funny when people suggest music for people to try, they recommend Maiden and Metallica. My mom has heard both of those bands... I'm pretty sure everyone has.
