Looking for some pedals

If you want a distortion pedal that gives you a cutting edge sound, the t.c electronic dark matter distortion pedal would be great pedal to own. or if you prefer a fizzy high-gain distortion sound, the bass big muff would be a good choice. the digitech bass driver would be another great choice for a distortion pedal.

If you're interested in modulation effects like a chorus pedal, check out the danelectro chorus pedals. these pedals can give you a retro-futuristic chorus sound and best of all, it's affordable.

If you're just experimenting as a noob, a multi-effects unit can be helpful to figure out which effects you like, and which ones you don't. (I can't tell if you're experienced or not). If I'm not mistaken, some of the multi-fx units are good home practice tools, too.

The suggestion to shop the Talk Bass classifieds was right on. You can find some great deals there (and some not so great deals too ;) shop carefully and you can find some bargains.

+1
get a multi fx,fool around, and by the time your playing evolves, you'll have a pretty clear idea about what fx suits you best.by this time your hearring will evolve too,so you won't be that much pleased with the current fx's you own-so you'll start gassin' for mo'
and then
welcome to our world:D
