Loudest tiny cab? Genzler? Barefaced? Other?

What a lovely instrument, all turned toward practicality. I'd play that to death. What are the controls ?

I need a small cab for mainly practice at home and the occasional gig with PA support. My amp is a Genzler Magellan 350.

Looking at the Genzler 10-2 and the barefaced one10.

What are your experiences?

I like 12’s better than 2X10’s. I’d consider the Genzler MG112T-V. Have two of the older Genzler MG-112T’s and they are great. A hair more
Vintage sounding than the Bergs when I tried then both.

It's standard EMG wiring. Volume and tone. And a LED for when a cable is connected. It has a Piezo bridge but its currently not connected.

way more affordable than Barefaced etc...

I use a Genzler 102 with a Magellan 350 and it puts out quality sound and volume far above its weight class. Its a great match for the 350. Add a cradle and short cable and you have a great combo. I picked up a used cabinet with the combo case, added a cradle and its now my primary rig, for small and mid-sized gigs. I used it last night at an outdoor gig, just a tiny bit of signal into the pa since everyone else in the band is in the pa mix, and it hardly breaks a sweat. One of these days I'm going to pick up a second 102 to used for larger gigs.

Another option to consider is RevSound - I have a 210 of theirs that I use for larger gigs now, and they make two other cabs that would fit your needs. One is a 28 that weighs something like 20 lbs (I had one and regret that I sold it) and a 110 that I havent used.

Funny, I also own a Revsound 210 but am looking for something lighter for rehearsals/smaller sessions. Do you have any impressions of the single Genzler BA10-2 vs the Revsound RS28 you used to own?

I have both a One10 and a Berg CN112. The One10 is way smaller and lighter, I have used it on very small gigs (coffee house type of deal with no FOH). Have never used it on larger gigs but have never really cranked it up to see what it would do either. The Berg 112 is fairly light and have played many gigs with it with no FOH. For BG either will provide good tone, the One10 takes low end EQ well. I also play upright and much prefer the Berg for that though I know there is now a One10 with a horn that would probably be better for upright.

The Revsound RS110 is a create cab, and it also pairs amazing well with the RS210 running at 2.67 ohms, for that extra little/big something.

Hard question to answer. The 28 was pretty loud but the 10-2 sounds better overall to me. If it was just a rehearsal cab I’d go with the Rev but for a scalable rig a pair of 10-2s would be my choice (and what I use).
