+1, the corner covers will not make the needed airtight seal. I used toothpicks, broke them so they wouldn't be longer than needed, and added some glue to them to keep them in place. In my case the holes were small enough that one round toothpick did the job nicely.

Indeed it does, but it's a little easier to control
Also, the small bottles of it are much better designed than the small PL bottles, and you have a prayer of reusing them. I only ever bought one bottle of PL but the thing dried up and was useless after one use. Gorilla glue'll last months in between uses.
